Limassol breaks real estate sales records

A significant increase of 20% was recorded in total real estate sales in the first seven months of 2017. Sales reached 4,349,  as opposed to 3,637 in the same period last year, with Limassol and Paphos still holding the portion of the lender in sales.

In addition, sales papers deposited at provincial cadastral offices in July reached 739 compared to 625 in July 2016, up 18%. June sales (843) reached the peak of the year, but in July a slight decline was noted.

According to the Department of Lands and Surveys, most sales were recorded for another month in Limassol. In particular, sales vouchers increased by 22% in July, reaching 269 compared to 220 in July 2016. At the same time, about one in three sales (36.9%) in the seven months were recorded in Limassol, where the sales papers deposited To 1,604 against 1,221 in the first seven months of 2016, up 31%.
